The Meaning of HOMYO (Pronounced: HOME-yo)

Like a slow, grounding exhale when you finally walk through your front door, our name is a blend of the English word Home and the Japanese design concept of Yohaku—the beauty of empty space.

We believe that true luxury isn't about cluttering your house with things; it’s about creating intentional margins. It is about removing the chaos and building a comfortable, beautiful sanctuary where you can simply exist.

Our Philosophy: Warm Minimalism

Rooted in "Warm Minimalism" and Japandi design, our textiles are designed to serve two distinct purposes:

1. To look effortlessly beautiful draped in a sunlit room.

2. To feel incredibly heavy and comforting when you finally wind down for the night.

We prioritize comfort you can feel. Made with a dense 540 gsm (grams per square meter) faux fur front and a soft 220 gsm plush back, our Sanctuary blankets have a substantial, comforting weight.

Made from 100% polyester with no animal fur, our signature 3D bubble texture gives the look and feel of rabbit fur, and every blanket is machine washable.
